  • A gravel bike, a splitboard strapped to the frame, and a tent with other gear packed in the bags — the freedom to move at your own pace, live simply, and let the weather decide the rest.

This was the plan of Henna Palosaari and Karen Ekman when they set off last spring to go freeriding in Sunnmøre, Southern Norway.

The area was already familiar to them, but this time they wanted to experience it in a new way.

The film Ride to Ride documents their ten-day adventure on Norway’s west coast — a journey that led them to invent the word suffer-puffer, showed what happens when physical exhaustion quiets the mind, and reminded them of the simple joy that life and movement in the mountains can bring.
